Today, our team visited St. Aloysius Primary School, Area 3, Garki, Abuja, to raise awareness on the importance of making healthier food and drink choices.
We discussed the dangers of the Triple S Trap Sugar-Sweetened Beverages (SSBs), Transfat, and Salt and encouraged both pupils and teachers to embrace better alternatives for improved health and wellbeing.

As part of our Replace and Return Project, and in collaboration with the National SSB Tax Coalition and the Coalition for Healthy Food Advocacy, we continue to add our voice to the campaign for healthier options for our children and communities.

We reminded the children to stay a Transfat-Free Zone and say NO to SSBs for a healthier and stronger future and they pledged to avoid the Triple S Trap.

The 1st Stakeholders Dialogue on Power in the Health sector organised by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Power, held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja on the 9th and 10th of September, 2025.

The ground breaking event brought together Government officials, development partners and private sector representatives to have discussions on how to tackle the power challenges in the Health sector.

During the discussions it was established that Power in the Health sector is a necessity as a lot can go wrong without electricity and the Association of Nigeria Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP) noted that private hospitals should not be left out in the conversations as a large proportion of the population use the private facilities as well.

It is great to note that Ave Health Sense is at the forefront of supporting private hospital get solar solutions through our Rays for Healthcare Project where we provide sustainable financing model, incorporate digital monitoring and innovations, train healthcare workers and administrators in energy management and maintenance as mentioned in the presentations.
