Free Kidney Screening!!!

It’s World Kidney Day again, and this year’s theme is “Caring for People, Protecting the Planet.”

Every year, this day reminds us of something simple but often ignored. Kidney disease rarely announces itself early. Many people only discover there is a problem when the condition has already progressed. Awareness and early checks make a real difference.

At Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre, we are marking the day by opening our doors to the public for activities focused on education, prevention, and community engagement.

On Thursday, March 12, we will host a free kidney screening at 9 AM at the ZMKC car park in Abuja. This is an opportunity for people to learn more about their kidney health through checks and conversations with healthcare professionals.

Later that day at 12 PM, we will hold a health lecture in collaboration with the FCT Health Secretariat, featuring Ms. Dolapo Fasawe, Mandate Secretary for Health FCT, who will speak on kidney health awareness and prevention.

The activities continue on Saturday, March 21, with a Kidney Awareness Walk at 7 AM, bringing together the community to raise awareness and encourage healthier habits that support kidney health. Participants will receive free T-shirts, and the morning will include light activities and engagement.
