When people say “living healthy is expensive,” they’re usually thinking about things like organic food, gym memberships, supplements, or wellness products. And yes, those can add up. But health isn’t built on expensive extras—it’s built on consistent, simple habits.
Eating healthy doesn’t have to mean imported or fancy foods. Local options like vegetables, fruits, beans, rice, yam, and plantain are affordable and nourishing. Drinking enough water, getting good sleep, and staying active (even just walking daily) cost little to nothing.
Compare that to the cost of poor health—frequent hospital visits, medications, low energy, missed work, and long-term conditions. That’s where things become truly expensive.
