THIS “SMALL” KNEE PAIN CAN END YOUR ACTIVE LIFE — IF YOU IGNORE IT.

You felt it during a workout.
Or while climbing the stairs.
Or maybe after standing all day at work.
It’s “not that serious”… so you stretch it a little and move on.
But here’s the truth:
Most major knee problems don’t start suddenly. They start quietly.
That mild inner knee pain? It could be early ligament strain.
That clicking sound? Possible cartilage stress.
That swelling that comes and goes? A warning sign.
By the time pain becomes severe, damage may already be advanced.
At our Physiotherapy Clinic, we don’t just treat pain — we identify the root cause, correct movement patterns, restore strength, and prevent long-term joint damage.
Whether you’re: • A busy professional
• A parent constantly on your feet
• An athlete
• Or over 40 and noticing “age creeping in”
Your joints deserve attention before they demand surgery.
📍 Early assessment saves money.
📍 Early treatment prevents chronic pain.
📍 Early action keeps you active.
Don’t wait until walking becomes difficult.

Book your assessment today. Your future mobility depends on what you do now.

Healthy Aging And Why It Matters!!!

Healthy aging means maintaining functional ability and independence as we grow older. With aging, people face:

Muscle weakness (sarcopenia)

Joint stiffness and arthritis

Balance problems and falls risk

Cardiovascular decline

Reduced independence and quality of life

This is where physiotherapy and structured physical activity come in.
Let's break it down in the comment session👇

Erb's Palsy (also called Erb-Duchenne Palsy) is a form of brachial plexus injury that affects the upper nerves (C5 and C6) of the brachial plexus—a network of nerves that controls movement and sensation in the shoulder, arm, and hand.

Causes:

Erb’s Palsy commonly occurs due to:

Birth trauma – particularly during difficult vaginal deliveries involving:

Large baby (macrosomia)

Breech presentation

Shoulder dystocia (shoulder gets stuck behind the p***c bone)

Forceful pulling of the baby’s head/neck during delivery

Trauma in older children or adults – like motorcycle accidents, falls, or sports injuries

Symptoms

Typical signs affect the upper arm and shoulder, and may include:

Weakness or paralysis in the arm

Arm held at the side, internally rotated (waiter's tip position)

Inability to flex the elbow or lift the arm

Decreased grip strength

Impaired sensation in some cases
Diagnosis

Physical exam

EMG (electromyography) and nerve conduction studies

MRI or ultrasound (especially in infants)

Treatment:

Treatment depends on severity and age at diagnosis:

For Infants:

Physical therapy (very important for recovery)

Occupational therapy

Botox injections (in select cases)

Surgery (nerve graft or transfer) if no improvement by 3–6 months.

For Adults:

Physical rehabilitation(Physiotherapy main stay).

Surgical repair, especially for traumatic injuries

Prognosis (Early presentation is key in full recovery).

Mild cases: Most babies recover fully with therapy within 3–9 months

Severe cases: May have permanent weakness or disability without surgery

What do you know about Soleus Push Up Exercise(SPUs), Blood glucose reduction and Slower aging????
Sit down lets learn together;

The soleus push-up (SPU) exercise is a unique, low-intensity movement that targets the soleus muscle—a deep calf muscle that plays a major role in metabolism regulation during low-level activity. Recent research has shown that this exercise may have surprising benefits for blood glucose control and metabolic health, which in turn may contribute to slowing biological aging.

Today, we celebrate the World Physiotherapy Day, a momentous occasion that recognizes the invaluable contributions of physiotherapists worldwide.

As we mark this special day, we acknowledge the transformative impact of physiotherapy on individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Physiotherapists are the unsung heroes of healthcare, working tirelessly to empower patients, prevent disability, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Through their expertise and compassion, physiotherapists help people overcome adversity, achieve optimal function, and enhance their quality of life. From pediatric care to geriatric rehabilitation, physiotherapists make a difference in every stage of life.

As we celebrate this day, we also recognize the challenges that lie ahead. We must continue to advance research, innovate practice, and advocate for greater access to physiotherapy services.

So let us recommit ourselves to the pursuit of excellence in physiotherapy. Let us support one another, share knowledge, and collaborate to address the complex healthcare needs of our global community.

To all physiotherapists, I offer my deepest gratitude for your dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to empowering movement and enriching lives.
