Dear Friends

Challenges in manual handling practices for patient positioning among UK-based healthcare staff

We would like to invite you to participate in a research study being carried out as part of a doctoral project at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), which aims to understand challenging areas of manual handling practice for patient positioning relating to occupational health and patient well-being. We believe this study will allow you to contribute to the understanding and shaping of improved solutions for the health and occupational safety of health workers and their patients. If you would like to share your views on this topic, please click the link to complete the questionnaire sections in the online Qualtrics form: https://uclan.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8JiKUt8qLDEGUL4

The questionnaire should take an average of 25 minutes to fill. You can take a break and go back to it without losing your entries. This data collection is ending 30/04/2024. Participation is on a voluntary basis, if you would prefer not to participate, please simply ignore this email.

Please read the participants’ information sheet attached to this email to help you decide whether you would like to participate. Should you decide to participate you can proceed by filling out the informed consent section, which is also in the form or if you have any questions, please contact the researchers using the contact details below.

Thank you.
