NVMA Bauchi State Chapter Holds Successful Congress Meeting – A Milestone for Progress! 🏛️🤝

Today, 31st March 2026, the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Bauchi State Chapter, held its 16th Congress Meeting at the MHWUN Hall, adjacent Federal Secretariat, Bauchi.

The meeting, which was conducted in a hybrid format (physical and virtual via Google Meet), witnessed an impressive turnout of members who came together in the spirit of unity, purpose, and professionalism.

📌 Key Highlights:

🔹 Important Discussions: Congress deliberated extensively on critical issues affecting the veterinary profession in Bauchi State, with a strong focus on the implementation of the Revised CONMESS, member welfare, and strategic engagements with government stakeholders.

🔹 Unity in Diversity: Members from various zones and backgrounds converged to share insights, ideas, and solutions aimed at advancing the association's goals.

🔹 Collective Resolve: Congress reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing all necessary administrative and legal channels to ensure that veterinarians in Bauchi State are duly recognized and included in the Revised CONMESS.

🔹 Appreciation: Members expressed gratitude to the leadership for their dedication and transparency, and to all colleagues who participated both physically and virtually.

As veterinarians, we stand at the unique intersection where animal health, human health, and environmental health meet. Wildlife conservation is not just about protecting animals, it's about preserving our planet's delicate balance, safeguarding biodiversity, and ensuring sustainable livelihoods for generations to come.

This follows Dr. Tilde's recent election as the National Financial Secretary of NVMA, a testament to the exceptional leadership he demonstrated in Bauchi State.
