Children over the age of 6 have been found to be particularly at risk of .

The highest rate of onset of myopia currently observed in children 7-10 years old.

ADVICE FOR CHILDREN AND PARENTS 💐💐💐💐💐

1. Children should spend more time outdoors.

2. They should take regular breaks from time spent looking at screens or other devices (and other near work)(every 45 minutes) and read at an appropriate distance (30 - 40cm).

3. They should work in a bright environment, and where possible, work in conditions with natural light.

4. And most importantly, before your child starts school, make sure they visit an optometrist for comprehensive eye examination

Broccoli is packed with antioxidants, and carotenoids like lutein, vitamin B2 and zeaxanthin which act as protective pigments in the back of the eyes.

Broccoli can also help with eyes that are super sensitive to light.

For healthy eyes, incorporate broccoli into your daily meals.
