Consuming alcohol can make health issues like ulcers, diabetes, hypertension, and liver disease worse.

Alcohol irritates the stomach lining and this can worsen ulcers.

It can interfere with blood sugar control in diabetes.

Not only that, it may raise blood pressure in hypertension; and for liver disease, alcohol can further damage the liver.

Take this as the reminder that you need to steer clear of alcohol.
