Our orthopaedic team performed a closed reduction with K-wires fixation under C-arm image intensifier guidance for a 25-year-old man with a recurrent left shoulder dislocation.

Recurrent shoulder dislocation can cause chronic pain, weakness, and limited mobility — but with precise fixation and image-guided alignment, we ensure joint stability, faster healing, and long-term function restoration.

🔹 3 hours in the operating theatre — another successful case at Chygorcole Specialist Hospital!

Our Medical Director/Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon just concluded an acetabular reconstruction for a 57-year-old man involved in a road traffic accident.

The patient had an unstable hip reduction after initial traction in a government hospital. Upon referral, operative management was recommended, and we successfully opened and fixed the acetabulum.

✅ The patient will begin ambulating with a wheelchair by tomorrow,
✅ Partial weight bearing with a walking frame in 6 weeks, and
✅ Full recovery and independent walking without pain or aid within 3 months.
