Malcolms Anatomy Foundation was represented in Abuja at a two-day workshop hosted by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) focused on IFRS for SMEs and IFRS 19, simplified financial reporting standards designed to support the growth, accountability, and sustainability of small and medium-sized organizations.

The sessions provided valuable insights into key differences between full IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, including updated treatments for development costs, inventory, employee benefits, and the recognition and impairment of property, plant and equipment, investment property, and intangible assets.

These approaches reinforce the importance of practicality and transparency in financial reporting.

The workshop was both timely and highly relevant, particularly as Malcolms Anatomy Foundation continues to strengthen its internal governance and financial reporting frameworks.

As a public interest entity, we recognize the responsibility that comes with managing donor funds. Our Finance Office, led by Hope Amos Njoku, works closely with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria to ensure accurate reporting, proper disclosure of material information, and strict compliance with applicable standards.

Transparency and accountability remain central to how we steward resources entrusted to the Foundation.

We appreciate the FRCN for creating an enabling learning environment that supports responsible financial management across organizations.

✳️ Official Announcement

After months of patience, documentation, and due diligence, we are proud to announce that Malcolms Anatomy Foundation is now officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as an Incorporated Trustee in Nigeria. πŸŽ‰

This wasn’t just a regular registration.
It was a detailed and thorough process that involved legal vetting, constitution drafting, trustee verification, and multiple layers of approval, a process that truly defines the seriousness and sustainability of what we stand for.

The wait, nearly three months, was worth it.
It represents more than just a certificate; it signifies our formal recognition as a social impact non-profit dedicated to reconnecting individuals who have lost external body parts with prosthetic solutions, support systems, and renewed hope.

This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter, one where we can now fully engage partners, expand our reach, and strengthen our mission to restore dignity and improve livelihoods through access to prosthetic care.

Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision, stayed patient, and supported us through the process.

Malcolms Anatomy Foundation is here, officially recognized, fully committed, and ready to make impact. 🌍

✨ Every strong vision needs a stronger team. ✨

At Malcolms Anatomy Foundation, we believe access to prosthetics should not be limited by cost, geography, or societal barriers. Our mission is to restore mobility, independence, and dignity β€” and this team is the heartbeat of that mission.

From Nigeria to across Africa, our leadership and Pan-African representatives bring healthcare expertise, technological insight, and a shared commitment to transforming lives.

We are more than a nonprofit β€” we are a collective of changemakers working together to ensure mobility is not a privilege, but a right.

Here’s to the power of teamwork, partnerships, and purpose. πŸ’™

✨ Milestone Achieved: Our First Board of Trustees Meeting!

On September 4, 2025, Malcolms Anatomy Foundation successfully held its inaugural Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting πŸŽ‰.

This meeting marked a defining moment in our journey as a nonprofit social impact organization, strengthening our governance, strategy, and shared commitment to improving prosthetic access across Africa.

We are especially proud to have hosted not just our 7 Trustees in Nigeria, but also our International Representatives:

🌍 South Africa β€” Mamello Moutang
🌍 Morocco β€” Mohamed Yassine Nabat

Together, we discussed our foundation’s vision, operational structure, partnerships, and our first steps toward connecting individuals with prosthetics at little to no cost.

πŸŽ₯ (See a short highlight from our meeting below)

This is just the beginning β€” and with teamwork, transparency, and dedication, we are confident Malcolms Anatomy Foundation will become a beacon of hope for many across Africa. πŸ’™
