Lady Dr. Adetutu Owolabi, a native of Ikiran Ile in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, is a respected APC chieftain and a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives.

Her journey reflects a strong commitment to service, education, and the well-being of her people.

She began her early education at Ethiop Primary School and ICE Secondary School in Sapele, Delta State. With determination to make a difference in healthcare, she pursued higher education abroad, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northeastern University, a Master’s degree in Public Health from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Dr. Owolabi has also gained valuable experience through her professional work and public service. She worked under Yemi Keri during the administration of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and has built a successful career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

In recognition of her contributions to community development and social progress, she was honoured with the Afemai Award.
