Good morning, trust u had a good night and beautiful dreams. We're also making one here; a beautiful dream...we're putting together the different parts of a new piece that's expected to pioneer new frontiers in medical journalism. This is the Maternal and Child Health Edition of the IFEMED Journal. A beautiful dream in progress.
We have in the oven topics such as R**e, Abortion in Nigeria, the Well Child, Child Labour and Child Abuse, Obstructed Labour, Severe Malaria in Children and many more. We look forward to a Journal Edition that would show the state of health and also project into the future to see the path that we must tow to gain the highest standards in health; in Maternal and Child Health in Nigeria.
I'm passionate about this cause, for the concerned ones is my daughter, your daughter too (they'll be born sometime in the future), the woman who's getting married tomorrow may be my friend, your friend. Maternal and Child Health in Nigeria, we sure have mothers and we're gonna be parents in the near future. This edition is for us a huge tool to bring us to the heights of health.
The Launching of this Edition is slated for 25th of April this year, and we expect notable personnels who have championed a cause in the field of maternal and child health in Nigeria in attendance. Of special note is Professor Okonofua (who will be talking on 'Maternal Health in Nigeria, where we stand') and Professor Adenike Grange (who also will speak on 'State of the Nigerian Child').
It's a beautiful dream we're working on here. We've placed it on the canvas of time and are painting it with strength, diligence, sleepless nights and many more efforts and resources. In the end, we'll be presenting to you a beautiful piece. I look forward to having you present at the journal launch and will also be glad if you join us to make this grand masterpiece!
