We are currently seeking experienced full time and part time care gives to join a dedicated team of care providers in Ilorin, surrounding areas and beyond to the elderly and recuperating patients in their own homes. Experience in supporting adults or with complex needs is desirable but not essential.

All training will be provided by our team of experienced and qualified personnel. In return for your dedication and commitment to both Evercare’s values and principles and the individual you support, Evercare will provide every opportunity for you to progress, excel and develop in your desired role.

Key role & responsibilities:

Keep the individual well and safe by being responsive, caring and aware of the individuals needs at all times
Provide appropriate levels of care as trained, keeping the individual's health and well being as your focal point at all times.
Enable the individual wherever possible, safe and appropriate
Effective liaison between the individual's family, other professionals, management team and your team to provide a consistent approach that meets the needs of the individual
Promote opportunities to engage in activities to stimulate and engage the individual - be creative!
Monitoring and maintaining records
Provide help with all aspects of personal care
Provide respite, support for the family of the individual
Essential requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have satisfactory references and guarantors
Fluent in English
Ability to work as a team as well as individually

Our office opened in May 2018 with the aim of bringing twenty first century health care services, training and development, to our local hospitals and the people of Ilorin in particular and Kwara State and Nigeria in general. We also have and can procure modern day life saving hospital equipment that can either be loaned or sold to hospitals to provide better care for the patients. We are led by a United Kingdom trained nurse who has worked selflessly,and tirelessly as a critical care nurse in the United Kingdom before retiring as a Sister to bring something back home to her people.

We are into looking after the elderly citizens and the recuperating patients in the comfort of their own homes with our ‘EVER CARE HOME SERVICES’ by our esteemed and well trained support workers led by our home care services manager who has a wealth of experience in home care services from the United Kingdom.

Our training cuts across all spheres of the Nigerian community and are adaptable to various organisations. We provide clinical and non-clinical training and development to hospitals and offer other health related and life saving training to government and private organisations.

We are also involved in carrying out community based medical and health outreaches sponsored by individuals, philanthropists or corporate organisations; or as volunteer back team up for other associations giving free medical outreach to their communities.
