WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
1. Astymin
This is mainly a multivitamin + amino acid supplement. It is used to boost energy, improve recovery after illness, and support people who feel weak, stressed, or have poor appetite.
2. Astyfer
This is a blood-building supplement.
It contains iron + folic acid + vitamins that help the body produce red blood cells.
It is mainly used in people with iron deficiency, low red blood levels, or women who lose much blood during menstruation or pregnancy.
It does not contain iron, so it won’t directly help with low red blood levels.
WHO NEEDS ASTYMIN?
- People recovering from sickness
- Those who feel weak or stressed
Students, workers, or elderly who need energy boost.
- Patients with poor appetite
WHO NEED ASTYFER?
- People with low blood levels (anemia)
- Pregnant women who need extra iron
- Women with heavy menstrual flow
People with iron deficiency from poor diet
🔑 SYRUP VS CAPSULES
Astymin syrup is often given to children, elderly, or people who cannot swallow capsules. It works the same, just easier to take.
Astyfer syrup is also preferred for children, while adults mostly take capsules.
Syrup may taste sweet but can sometimes cause nausea in sensitive people.
👉 In short: syrup = easier for kids and elderly; capsules = stronger and better for adults.
CAN YOU TAKE BOTH TOGETHER?
Yes, sometimes doctors prescribe both if someone has anemia but also needs extra vitamins and amino acids for faster recovery.
But don’t self-medicate, get tested before starting iron supplements.
