Emotional Health and Fertility

In my practice, I have seen how fertility challenges affect more than the body - they affect the heart and mind.

The waiting. The questions. The pressure. The hope.

This Wednesday, I’ll be discussing how emotional health intersects with fertility care and practical ways to stay grounded while navigating this journey.

Fertility treatment is science. But healing requires compassion too.

Let’s talk about s***m freezing.

Life doesn’t always move in straight lines - illness, travel, career plans, or age can all affect future fertility.

S***m freezing allows men to preserve healthy s***m today for use tomorrow.

It’s safe. It’s simple. And in many cases, it’s a wise decision.

Planning ahead is not fear, it’s foresight.

In 2018, I stood at the British House of Commons as leaders debated the global future of assisted reproduction.

Safety. Ethics. Innovation. Responsibility.

Those conversations shaped how I see fertility medicine today.

Assisted reproduction is no longer a fringe medical option. It is a sophisticated, highly regulated field that continues to transform lives by building families - safely.

What we discussed on international platforms must reflect in clinical practice, and that is the standard I hold myself to.

At ALPS Hospitals, our work is not guesswork.
It is grounded in global exposure, evidence-based medicine, and deep compassion for families seeking answers.

We are not just offering IVF and assisted reproduction; we are offering safe, ethical, globally informed reproductive care.

And we will continue to lead from the front.

Fertility Conversations Before Marriage

Love is beautiful. Commitment is powerful. But wisdom makes it sustainable.

Many couples prepare for weddings yet avoid conversations around fertility and future family goals. These discussions are not signs of doubt. They are signs of maturity.

This Wednesday, Dr. Deborah Olubiyi will guide us through the important fertility conversations every couple should have before saying “I do.”

In fertility care, success is not only about a positive test. It’s about peace of mind.

This Friday, I’ll be explaining how Pre-Genetic implantation Diagnosis (PGD) allows us to screen embryos for specific genetic conditions before implantation, helping families rule out avoidable inherited diseases.

If you’ve ever wondered what modern medicine can truly do for genetic-related concerns or family planning, this conversation will be practical and honest.

Ovarian rejuvenation is an advanced fertility option designed for women with low ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, or early ovarian decline. Using regenerative techniques like PRP, we aim to stimulate ovarian activity and improve the chances of conception.

It can open a new door where options once seemed limited.

The first step is always a proper fertility assessment and honest medical guidance.

Your journey deserves real possibilities. When the ovaries slow down, hope doesn’t have to.

When love meets genetics, difficult questions often follow, but silence and fear shouldn’t.

This Friday, I’ll be having an open and honest conversation on AS + AS, addressing the options available, the ethical concerns many couples wrestle with, and the medical solutions that now make healthy parenthood possible.

This session is for couples, families, and anyone seeking clarity, without judgment, pressure, or misinformation.

One thing years in fertility medicine has taught me is this: guessing delays hope.

Many couples come in carrying fear, guilt, or pressure, when what they truly need is clarity.

Fertility is never one-size-fits-all. Hormones, egg quality, s***m health, the uterus, timing; every detail matters, and every person deserves an evaluation that respects their uniqueness.

I’ve seen what happens when we stop assuming and start assessing properly. The path becomes clearer. Decisions become wiser. Hope becomes practical.

This February, my reminder is simple: the right answers change everything. And they begin with the right questions.

So if you’re unsure where to start, start with understanding.
