So when we make emphasis on regular medical check up ......people grumble and complain of funds. But the truth is, it is more cost effective to stay healthy than get treatment. Here’s a short story.
Few days ago I lost a 20year old male patient (very young right🙁) to diabetic ketoacidiosis (DKA). This condition is characterized by very high blood glucose(sugar) level and ketones (break Down of fats) which lead to ketoacidiosis. Based on the history gotten this young man was never diagnosed of diabetes before and apparently he rarely fell sick.
But if only he had been going for regular medical checkups just maybe ......this could have been detected earlier. Anyway what happened has happened.
Dear young man dear young lady don’t say you are too young to have diabetes, hypertension .......go for regular medical checkup ascertain you are fit and don’t make assumptions that you are fit.
Most of this medical conditions are better managed when detected earlier.

Today make up your mind that no matter how difficult your schedule may be or no matter how busy you may be at work, you won't hold urine in your bladder for too long.
Also teach your children to stop holding urine in their bladder, when ever the have the urge to p*e ensure they p*e.
Our bladder is made up of muscles and that is why we can control our urination most times. Just like a band our bladder is made up of elastic muscles which can contract and relax voluntarily and involuntarily. If you keep neglecting the urge to p*e over time the bladder losses it's elasticity and the inability to control urination sets in( incontinence) and asides that many of us suffer urinary tract infection often not because we don't maintain a good sanitary hygiene; holding urine in the bladder for long aids bacteria buildup there off causing urinary tract infection.
Practise good bladder hygiene.
Empty your bladder as the urge comes.
You can't cheat nature.
Save yourself the stress of the multiple complications.

Recent discovery and update on COVID 19 states that a loss in the sense of smell may be a symptom. so we have to watch out and be more careful , also remember that not all stooling and vomiting are gastroenteritis, they are also symptoms of COVID. Most people presenting to the hospital or those testing positive to the virus do not even come down with the regular symptoms{cough, fever, chest pain} we know. please the lockdown has been eased and we are all excited as most if not everything has returned to normal, but in your excitement remember to protect yourself. WHO has stated the possibility of a 2nd wave outbreak which is what we shouldnt even anticipate. stay safe and stay healthy
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
