‎📢 AMR AWARENESS SERIES – EPISODE 1

‎🦠 What is Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)?

‎Antimicrobial Resistance occurs when microorganisms such as bacteria become resistant to medicines that were previously effective.

‎This means:
⚠️ Infections become harder to treat.
‎⚠️ Treatment becomes more expensive.
‎⚠️ Risk of complications increases.

‎One major cause?
‎❌ Misuse and overuse of antibiotics
‎❌ Self-medication
‎❌ Not completing prescribed doses

‎💡 Protect yourself:
✔ Only use antibiotics when prescribed
‎✔ Complete your full course of treatment
‎✔ Never share antibiotics

‎AMR is real.
‎AMR is dangerous.
‎But together, we can prevent it.

‎💙 Clear Voice. Strong Impact.
