SHOULD BELIEVERS SMOKE W**D?
Someone once asked, “If God didn’t want us to smoke w**d, why did He create it?”
The answer is simple: not everything God created was meant for human consumption.
This was the very lesson in Eden. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was indeed created by God, but it was not for Adam’s consumption. Its presence was a test of obedience and a boundary for wisdom.
Now someone else may ask, “Then why did God create it at all?”
Because free will requires options. Without the presence of that tree, man could not choose—and without choice, there can be no love, no obedience, no surrender. Some things exist not for indulgence, but to reveal the true condition of our hearts.
Remember this: availability is not approval. Just because something is accessible and even pleasurable does not mean it is endorsed by God.
As believers, we are called to soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7) and to honor the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). W**d, like any drug that alters consciousness or damages the body, impairs judgment, dulls discernment, and compromises spiritual sensitivity.
So no, we don’t smoke w**d—not because we are trying to be “deep,” but because we are called to be holy, whole, and wise stewards of our bodies and minds.
