Anemia is when the body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells or enough haemoglobin.
Haemoglobin is the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen. So, the body isn’t getting enough oxygen.

Common causes
Low iron (the most common cause)
Lack of vitamins like B12 or folate
Blood loss (heavy periods, injury, ulcers)
Certain illnesses or infections

Treatment
Treatment depends on the cause, but usually includes:
1. Iron-rich foods or iron tablets
Foods: spinach, beans, red meat, eggs, dates
Iron tablets if food isn’t enough

2. Vitamins
Vitamin B12 or folic acid supplements if those are low

3. Treating the cause
Treating bleeding, infections, or underlying diseases

4. Severe cases
Blood transfusion (only when very serious)

Weight Loss!

🚫 MYTH: Skipping meals helps with weight loss

✅ FACT: Skipping meals often have the opposite effect. It may slow down your metabolism, heighten cravings, and result in overeating later in the day.

Instead of skipping meals:
✅Eat balanced meals (protein + fiber + healthy fats)
✅Focus on portion control, not starvation
✅Maintain consistent meal times
✅Listen to hunger cues

Don’t wait until you’re THIRSTY to drink water!!!

Thirst is not an early warning sign. Thirst is your body’s way of saying it already needs fluids

Early signs that you need to pick that bottle of water before you feel THIRSTY
🚨Dry mouth or lips
🚨Dark yellow urine
🚨Feeling tired or sluggish
🚨Headache

These simple hydration habits will go a long way:
✅Take a few sips every 30–60 minutes
✅Drink a glass of water when you wake up
✅Have water with every meal
✅Keep a reusable bottle nearby
✅Eat water-rich foods (fruits, vegetables)

Drinking small amounts regularly throughout the day can help maintain energy, focus, and overall health.

Keep water nearby and make hydration a daily habit, not a reaction.
