How does high blood pressure affect the kidneys. High blood pressure can constrict and narrow the blood vessels, which eventually damages and weakens them throughout the body, including in the kidneys. The narrowing reduces blood flow. If your kidneys’ blood vessels are damaged, they may no longer work properly.

Do bananas raise your blood sugar?
A banana’s effect on blood sugar depends on its
ripeness.

**Green (unripe) bananas contain resistant starch, which doesn’t raise blood sugar levels** and may improve long-term blood sugar management. Yellow (ripe) bananas contain more sugar, so they may cause a bigger rise in blood sugar # #

WHAT IS NORMAL SUGAR LEVEL?

or
Less than 140mg/dI (7.8mmol/L) after doing an oral glucose tolerance test
With type 2 diabetes:
Generally, blood sugar checked before meals should ideally be between 80 - 130 mg/dL (4.4 - 7.2 mmol/L)...
