This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who lead, inspire, and shape our communities — including those navigating hearing challenges.
Because when we empower hearing, we empower her voice, her confidence, and her opportunities.

Every child deserves the chance to realise their full potential

This World Hearing Day, we are calling on communities, schools, health systems and families to understand the importance of childhood hearing health.

When hearing loss is diagnosed and supported early, a child can romp and play, laugh, learn and grow with confidence.

Together, we can create a world where every child can hear and be heard.

On World Radio Day, we remember how radio used to weave stories that stayed with us—a voice that filled the silence and made us feel that we were not alone.
But behind every broadcast wave… there are those who may miss these moments.
At Cochlear, we highlight the importance of access to sound and its role in building human connections, as part of our mission: to help people hear and be heard.
Today, we reaffirm our commitment to continue our journey of empowering more people to reconnect with the world of sound—so they can hear, communicate, and share their stories with the world once again.

We’re proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone in engineering and hearing health.

Professor Graeme Clark AC – the pioneering Australian surgeon‑scientist behind the multichannel cochlear implant – has been awarded the 2026 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.

His vision has helped transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. Today, more than 750,000 people in over 180 countries hear with one – or two – of Cochlear’s implantable hearing solutions.

We congratulate Professor Clark and the nine QEPrize laureates whose innovation continues to push the boundaries of neural engineering.
