1. Track your ovulation and have s*x on your most fertile days and on ovulation day.

2. Keep your stress level at a manageable level.

3. Follow a healthy diet plan, ie eat healthy foods.

4. Try to lose weight if you are overweight

5. Quit smoking please 🙏

6. Reduce your caffeine intake

7. Exercise regularly.

How many ultrasound scan are required in pregnancy?

Okay here are the important scans that are needed in pregnancy.

1. Dating scan (early pregnancy scan): Usually done between 6–12 weeks of pregnancy.

Aim: *To confirm the pregnancy and check if the baby is growing in the right place.
*To check for single or multiple pregnancy (twins, triplets, etc.).
* To measure the baby and estimate the due date (EDD).

2. NT scan (Nuchal Translucency Scan): Usually between 11–14 weeks.

Aim: *Used to screen for chromosomal abnormalities, such as Down syndrome (Trisomy 21), Trisomy 18, and Trisomy 13.

3. Anomaly scan (Mid-Pregnancy or Detailed Anatomy Scan): usually done around 18–22 weeks.

Aim: *Confirms the baby’s gender if parents wish to know.
* To detect any birth defects or abnormalities early.

4. Growth scan (Late Pregnancy Scan): Usually from 28 weeks onward, and may be repeated later if needed.

Aim: *To monitor the baby’s growth and weight.
* To assess blood flow, placenta health, and amniotic fluid.
* To ensure the baby is growing well and getting enough oxygen and nutrients.
* Helps doctors decide the best time and method for delivery if issues are detected.
