🌿 Morning Prayer for Lent 🌿
Heavenly Father,
As this Lenten season unfolds, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking renewal, discipline, and deeper fellowship with You. Teach us the true meaning of Lent — not just sacrifice, but transformation; not just fasting, but drawing closer to Your presence.
Lord, help us to practice Lent with sincerity. As we fast, let us hunger for righteousness. As we pray, let our hearts align with Your will. As we give, let compassion flow from us to those in need. Remove every distraction that pulls us away from Your purpose and strengthen us to walk daily in obedience, patience, and love.
May this season shape our character, refine our faith, and prepare our hearts for the victory and hope found in Christ. Let our lives reflect repentance, forgiveness, humility, and grace — not only during Lent, but beyond it.
Today, we choose self-control over indulgence, kindness over anger, faith over fear, and hope over despair. Guide our thoughts, words, and actions so that everything we do glorifies You.

Let us pray.
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You,
because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Lord Jesus, as we enter into the sacred remembrance of Your Paschal Mystery,
heal our memories and the wounds of our past.
Let Your saving love touch our history, restore what is broken within us,
and renew our hearts with the grace that flows from Your Cross.
In Your infinite mercy, Lord, look with compassion upon all
who carry heavy burdens in this life.
Strengthen those suffering from sickness,
forgive and restore those weighed down by sin,
comfort those struggling with poverty and unemployment,
remember those longing for the gift of children,
deliver those bound by addiction,
and heal every heart wounded by anger, resentment, or pain.
Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Cross and Resurrection,
bring freedom where there is bo***ge,
hope where there is despair,
and solutions where there seem to be none.
May this holy season of Lent draw us closer to You,
purify our hearts, and prepare us to rejoice in the victory of Your Resurrection.
