Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a major cause of cervical cancer, is preventable. Protect yourself by avoiding risky behaviours such as unprotected s*x, having multiple s*xual partners, and early s*xual activity. HPV can also spread through skin-to-skin contact and is more likely to occur in individuals with existing STIs. Women living with HIV are especially vulnerable, often affected between ages 15 and 49.
