BAD BREATH : CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
Bad breath, also known as halitosis, can be embarrassing and in some cases may even cause anxiety. It's no wonder that store shelves are overflowing with gum, mints, mouthwashes and other products designed to fight bad breath. But many of these products are only temporary measures because they don't address the cause of the problem.
Some of the major causes of bad breath are the following:

*Poor dental hygiene. When one does not maintain a good dental hygiene like regular and proper brushing of teeth, flossing and brushing of tongue, food particles that remain in the mouth start to decay and give off odour. The number of bacteria in the mouth also increase sporadically and Gives off odour due to the production of smelly sulphur compounds by such bacteria.

*Foods. Some foods we eat can also give us bad breath. Foods like onions and garlic are absorbed into the bloodstream and have the potential of giving bad breath until they leave the bloodstream.
