I had to pick this topic for discussion because a lot of people do not understand the fact that their waistline sizes is one of the determinant factor of their overall health or they simply choose to neglect it.
...... The waistline refers to the horizontal line where the waist is narrowest, some people are confused about this.

Simply stand upright, then tilt over to the side, keeping the legs and hips straight , where the torso increases is the natural waistline

It may interest you to know that your waistline size happens to be one of three (3) key measures of your overall health. The other two (2) being;

🥕 Waist to- hip ratio

Fats stored around your waist and the distribution of your weight may be influenced by your diet and exercise habits
...How to decrease waist size
🥢Move your body..... Vigorous exercise of 15 minutes or moderate exercise of 30 minutes daily, activities like ; jogging on the spot, jumping rope, swimming, walking, and aerobics are fantastic
🥢Eat a healthy diet, skip processed and fast foods replace with vegetables, lean meat, whole grains and high fibre foods. Avoid saturated fats and added sugar
🥢Watch your portion size..... Taking healthy foods in large quantities may put you at the risk of gaining weight due to high calorie intake
🥢Skip sodas and other sugary beverages, too much sugar in the body makes the body overly acidic, this is the bedrock for so many dangerous ailment. Consume lots of water instead , you can add a dash of lemon juice to improve the taste.
🥢Skip night meals or at least avoid eating late at night, it's difficult for your body to metabolise foods eating late at night, this equally has a negative effect on your diastolic blood pressure.
🤷🏽♀My Recommendations
In my candid opinion, unless you are involve in some sort of energy draining , physically exertive or mentally exhaustive job, taking three square meals is not ideal, especially from ages 40 when your hormones and metabolism are no longer at their optimal performances.
🥕 Say no to that big bowl 🥣 of complex carbs
🥕 Say no to late night eating better still skip it
🥕 Eat maximum of two healthy square meals daily
🥕 No carbonated drinks
🥕 Reduce added sugar
🥕 Take more raw meals (fruits and vegetables) than cooked this is especially for type "A" blood group
🥕 Alkaline your body, cut down on high purine foods like red meat 🥩
🥕 Consume lots of water 💦 especially on waking up, it reduces the level of acidity in your stomach and hydrates your system.
