Special Olympics Nigeria team will move to Special Education Centre, Oron road, Uyo, the capital city of Akwa-Ibom State, South-south geo-political zone, to organizing a three (3) days program at from 25th-27th November, 2014 by 9am daily.
Details:
Coaches Training: Tuesday 25th Nov.2014
School Sports Day: Wednesday 26th Nov. 2014
Healthy Athletes: 27th Nov. 2014

Please NOTE that, Coaches will be given hand-on step to step training on how to coach the athletes, and completion opportunities. Also athletes will be given free medical screening in the following disciplines; Medfest-general body checkup, Special Smile-dental screening, and Opening Eye- Eye screening.
Athletes and family members are all invited…..Remember is all free of charge “NO GATE PASS”!!!

Special Olympics Nigeria will be organizing a three (3) days program at School for Children with Special Needs, Sagamu, Ogun state, south west geo-political zone, from 11th-13th November, 2014 by 9am daily.

Beneficiary includes;
Coaches will be given firsthand information on how to coach the athletes.
Athletes will undergo free medical screening in the following disciplines;
a. Medfest – General body check up.
b. Special Smiles- Dental screening.
c. Opening Eye- Eye screening.
d. Healthy Hearing- Hear screening.
Family members will be educated by season professional in their area of specialty on the under listed topics;
1. Dental care for people with special needs
2. Prevention and handling of sexual abuse of people with Special Needs.
