Whilst we can boast of giant strides and great achievements in Lagos, there are still many issues facing our State today, many stemming from the fact that Lagos remains the commercial nerve centre and economic hub of Nigeria and indeed, Africa, with an estimated population of about 24,000,000 and a yearly influx of 1,200,000 people.
The campaign slogan “For A Greater Lagos” was carefully selected to express the commitment of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Obafemi Hanzat to fix issues and challenges confronting Lagos and Lagosians.
For A Greater Lagos means a government that will be accountable to you, the hard working people of Lagos. Whether it is working to address the traffic and transportation challenges, providing healthcare and a cleaner environment, creating better opportunities for education, building more schools for our children and jobs for our unemployed youth, bringing more investment to our state, fighting to provide basic infrastructure required to achieve a 21st century economy, growing the entertainment, arts and culture sector or making a safer and more secure State; your government will be an all inclusive government for all Lagosians.
Get Involved
A wise man once said "you are only as successful as your network." and in this campaign no truer fact has been stated, to put it plainly we can't fulfil the dream ‘for A Greater Lagos” without your help! We can only make it happen together. Although finance is the cornerstone of any election, getting involved and helping can mean more than donating money. We want people to give what they can afford. A donation of your time can be as valuable as your money, mobilising support, spreading the word to your friends and family, passing out brochures in your community or at your local political rally, and making a pledge or commitment to vote and encouraging others to go to the polls on March 3rd 2019 are all wonderful ways to help change this great state of ours for the better.
Your issues are our issues, so please drop us a line, ask us anything . we are open, plain speaking and listening candidates who are here to work with Lagosians to build a better Lagos and make the Lagos dream “For A Greater Lagos” a reality.
