HYDRONEPHROSIS:
Hydronephrosis is caused by a blockage in the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder. This blockage keeps p*e (urine) from flowing from your kidney to your bladder. When that happens, one or both of your kidneys swell.
Types of Hydronephrosis
• Sudden/Chronic
• Partial/Complete
• One sided/Bilateral
If one kidney is affected, the condition is called Unilateral hydronephrosis
If the two kidney is affected, it is called Bilateral
CAUSES OF HYDRONEPHROSIS
• Kidney stone
• Ureteral obstruction
• Tumor: Tumors in bladder or other organs that are part of or near your

SYMPTOMS OF HYDRONEPHROSIS
• Solid or intense pain in your side, abdomen or back.
• Painful urination
• Blood in your p*e
• Ureteral pain
• Peeing more or less than normal .
