Quick Medical Consult ltd, QMC is a Health Service Provider who has operating since 2010 and was incorporated in 2011. We are a unique private organisation with the aim of providing Quality Healthcare in whatever area our client may need help in. We recognize that the National Healthcare system is grossly overburdened and we aim to bridge the gap for clients and patients who have been failed or simply do not trust the system. We specialize in providing Emergency Medical Services through our tailored Medical Teams ( Doctors, paramedics and Ambulances). We cover all kinds of gatherings of large amounts of people for e.g Shows, Events, Rallies, Film shoots etc providing whatever combination of health personel and equipment we deem fit for the specifics of the job. We also provide Private Medical Consultation to our clients through our different packages. We 'Connect the Right Patient to the Right Doctor' by identifying the best doctor to manage whatever condition our client is seeking a solution to, and connect our client directly to the doctor, removing all queues and waiting time in a private consultation arranged by us. We also conduct contract laboratory screening services for individuals or organisations who may wish their employee's to undergo medical fitness testing/ check ups. QMC has worked with various NGO's and Charitable organisations. We are always willing to help out in any Health based events we can contribute to. We are currently running our own pet project called "The De-Worming Project" which aims to deworm 3 Million Nigerian Children. We are currently at about 15,000 having successfully carried out campaigns in Benue State and Abuja. We will be continuing in Lagos in 2014.

WormFreeZone is Back!!
Join *Gidigroove Entertainment* and *Quick Medical Consult,* as we take the very first out of Lagos!!!

*WormFreeZone, * is a health campaign aimed at deworming Children across Nigeria and pushing advocacy for Good hygiene and proper hand washing techniques. It has run for over 5 years now and dewormed over 20,000 children so far.

Each edition is packed full of fun activities and Ago Iwoye won’t be any different. Each child will be dewormed, and receive a gift pack. We also have an arts section where children are given crayons and pencils to colour in images of hand washing and hygiene they take home with them, while advocacy is going on. There will also be lots of music, singing and dancing completions and games to ensure the kids have a great time.

Come with us to the community of *Ago-Iwoye in Ogun state* as we embark on a journey to deworm as many kids as possible on the *13th of October 2018*

Tour are invited to participate in this next edition by volunteering on the day of, donating child friendly gifts, toys, school supplies etc to be shared to the children or cash donations to host the event. initiative is a free event targeted at pregnant women and new mums. Its aim is to educate these women and empower them with adequate knowledge on how to live healthy and stay fit during and after pregnancy. Pregnant women and nursing mums are getting more concerned about keeping fit during pregnancy and retaining their physique or even looking better, after childbirth. This initiative seeks to rebuild confidence and give hope to pregnant/new mums who may be going through emotional and psychological trauma either during the pregnancy or while learning to cope with the dynamics of motherhood. Have you donated before? I have. And each time his mum calls me, I feel accomplished no matter how down I am feeling. He's a year and 8 months now.

I bled to save my patient cos I was qualified to and I could.
Now the first step to saving lives via bleeding is knowing your Blood Group.
I am O+ and you?.
If you can't answer this question head to a medical laboratory and check your blood group and genotype while you are at it.

Second Step:
Who can I donate to?
i) What are the blood groups that exist?
A+ & A (-)
B+ & B (-)
AB+ & AB (-)
O+ & O-
The +& - signs are called Rhesus factors. It is either you have it (+), or you don't have the factor (-). If you have a blood group outside these ones, you are a suspect. Infact, we don't know you. Or we will donate you to a science research Lab, who knows?
ii) A) Everyone can donate to their fellow blood group and Rhesus factor bearers. Donating to someone outside your rhesus, esp a +ve giving a negative can cause sensitization and blood reaction too.

B)Blood group AB is called a Universal recipient. It can receive blood from any blood group with its Rhesus. It can receive from A, B, or O. But can only give to itself. 'Stingy, Parasitic' blood type🙄

C)Blood group O-ve is called a universal Donor can give to anyone irrespective of Rhesus.
O+, can give to any blood group, but Only those with the +ve Rhesus factor.
O-ve is best cos it doesn't have the Rhesus factor that can cause reactions, and so can be received by any blood group and Rhesus.

Plot twist: Can only receive blood from itself, O-ve.
It gives selflessly. We the Igbos will call it 'Kezaiah', the giver.

Also, you can donate as much as 3 to 4 times a year.

And blood donation has great body benefit, as it helps cleanse your blood as it renews cells.
It also helps people from tipping into what we call Polycythaemia Rubra Vera. Excess blood cells which is dangerous to health.

Donating frequently also helps us have healthier viable blood products.
