What is needed are broad-based partnerships beyond the health sector -- governments, stakeholders, the private sector, individual citizens -- to support people in making these changes so that we can prevent chronic diseases rather than treat. Prevention through information and leadership. The Preventing Chronic Disease Information Campaign is the strategy we are deploying. UNPOPULAR OPINION: 'Eating clean' is making you unhealthy.

Let me explain before you come for me. 👇

I've worked with hundreds of people who are OBSESSED with eating 'clean.'
They stress about every ingredient.
They won't eat anything unless it's organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, sugar-free, and blessed by a wellness influencer.

And you know what?
They're exhausted. Anxious. And their health isn't improving.

Here's what I've learned in 1o years as a nutritionist:

STRESS is more toxic than a non-organic apple.

The cortisol from food anxiety does more damage than the pesticide you're avoiding. Your body can handle imperfect food. It cannot handle chronic stress.

What actually works?

Can I share something that still gives me chills? 🙏

Just got off the phone with Patricia.

5 months ago, she could barely get through her workday without needing a nap. Always feeling sleepy. She was drinking 4 cups of coffee just to function. Her doctor said her bloodwork was 'fine' but she felt anything BUT fine.

Today?

She's waking up BEFORE her alarm. No afternoon crash/ excessive sleepy feeling . Coffee is now a pleasure, not a necessity. She even started walking again - something she hadn't had energy for in 2 years.

I've been a nutritionist for 11 years and I need to tell you something that might make you angry...

That very expensive multivitamin you're taking? Your body is probably peeing out 80% of it.

Here's why:

Most supplements are SYNTHETIC.
They're made in a lab, not from real food.

I’ve seen people spend serious money on supplements that
look good,
sound scientific, and
promise fast results

— yet deliver nothing.

Many people believe supplements are magic pills.

+ skip days,

and still expect results.

Then they conclude,
