UNPOPULAR OPINION: 'Eating clean' is making you unhealthy.
Let me explain before you come for me. 👇
I've worked with hundreds of people who are OBSESSED with eating 'clean.'
They stress about every ingredient.
They won't eat anything unless it's organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, sugar-free, and blessed by a wellness influencer.
And you know what?
They're exhausted. Anxious. And their health isn't improving.
Here's what I've learned in 1o years as a nutritionist:
STRESS is more toxic than a non-organic apple.
The cortisol from food anxiety does more damage than the pesticide you're avoiding. Your body can handle imperfect food. It cannot handle chronic stress.
What actually works?
→ Eating MOSTLY whole foods (80/20 rule)
→ Filling nutritional gaps with quality whole-food supplements
→ Stopping the stress spiral around food
→ Actually ENJOYING your meals without guilt
Your grandmother ate white bread and lived to 95. You're eating kale salads and can't get out of bed.
Maybe the problem isn't the food. Maybe it's the FEAR.
Food is information for your cells. But so is stress. And right now, you're sending your body panic signals three times a day.
Stop eating 'clean.' Start eating SMART.
That means: nutrient-dense foods when you can, strategic supplementation to fill gaps, and zero guilt when life happens and you eat the dang pizza.
