πŸ‘ΌπŸ½ 2-5years, screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day. Keep content high-quality and educational.

πŸ‘ΌπŸ½ Model appropriate screen time behavoiur and limit your own screen time usage.

A new Mom is susceptible to having more visitors after the arrival of her bundle of joy.

However, there are some little things visitors should be aware of during their visits to a new mum, which are;

☎️ Call before you Visit: this will let you know it's a good time to visit or not.

🀐 Refrain from giving unsolicited advice especially that which has to do with the baby's health. (It's better you refer them to their pediatrician if need be)

❎ Don't Visit when you have a cold 😷 or the Flu.

😘❌ No kissing of baby

🀱🏾 Help a mother out; you can't imagine how far your help could go.

🚰 Help with chores if need be.

⏰ Don't over stay your welcome.

Salt, Honey and Sugar are predominantly common items but it is harmful.

Giving Salt is bad for the Kidney, Sugar is equally bad for the emerging teeth while giving Honey to babies not up to a year old may result into a bacterial reaction known as Infant Botulism (poisonous).

Other foods that should be avoided especially when they are 6 month's + include:-

πŸ”– Crisp and Salted Crackers

πŸ”– Ready meals for older children and adults.

πŸ”– Sweets and Chocolates

πŸ”–Fruit juices and smoothes (this may look like a healthy option but may contain very high concentration of Sugar)

Toddlers are more famous for leaving a path of destruction wherever they go than for helping tidy the house.

However, the truth is that they love to help, and if given the tools and opportunity, will enthusiastically help you with all kinds of chores.

Some of these chores are;

πŸ“Œ Assisting with laundry.

πŸ“Œ Washing fruits and vegetables when cooking

πŸ“Œ Helping to put away toys and books.

πŸ“Œ Cleaning up messes after playtime or eating time with the right tools (broom, kitchen napkin, tissues etc)

πŸ“Œ Helping to put groceries away (in the right shelves)

πŸ“Œ Setting and clearing the table after dining

πŸ“Œ Making the bed together.

Children can learn a lot from doing household chores in terms of skills, competency, responsibility and drive for teamwork within and outside the family.
