''Your body deserves mindful choices."
When it’s “less risky” to consume them:
1. Occasionally, at parties, events, or rare treats. Your body can usually handle small doses of them if you eat mostly whole foods at other times
2. When your immune system is strong, when your body is hydrated, generally healthy, and well-nourished, it can better process and eliminate additives.
3. Earlier in the day, your metabolism is more active and detox pathways are generally stronger in the morning to the afternoon.
When to avoid them :
1. During illness or recovery, your body is already under stress; additives can slow healing and burden the liver.
2. On an empty stomach, they’re absorbed more quickly, giving your body less buffer to process them.
3. At night, artificial colors, caffeine, and certain preservatives can disrupt sleep and detox cycles.
4. Daily consumption, even small amounts daily, can build up in your system over time
5. During pregnancy & breastfeeding,, many additives pass to the baby; natural foods are safer.
✅ Tip for balance:
If you do eat them, drink plenty of water, add fresh greens or vitamin-rich foods on the same day, and give your body “clean food” days afterward to recover.
