Founder, Natureal Botanical Co. Wellness through Nature’s Essence Nature has provided mankind a plant for every disease.

about us
Natureal began from family background/inheritance as well as subsequent interest and development in medicinal plants. Having lived close to nature (annex to Enugu Forest Herbarium) at No. 2 Works Road, GRA, Enugu-Nigeria and also a Taxonomist – Agro Forester as my father, there was an early interest in “search” for the therapeutic and socio-economic potentials of several plant species. Th

ese plant species were specifically noted to be utilized in the treatment of various ailments, as well as consumed as food and also sold to generate income, thereby contributing immensely to the general well being of their users. The various parts of the species were mixed together in different proportions and were administered to treat various diseases. These activities were very rewarding, especially being able to treat some of the family members and check their diseases, with medicinal plant parts. However, learning to prepare one’s own medicinal remedies involved much more than mixing together plant parts. There was need to be familiar with the properties of the plant species in order to treat an illness successfully. One of the ways to become familiar with plants is to grow and study them. The interest in medicinal plants had thus existed in me for more than 20 years and so I had to investigate them more systematically. Thus, Natureal began as a two-person operation in 1996 in Ikeja- Lagos and has grown steadily with various component activities including:
Identification of plant species used health care delivery in Southern Nigeria
Planting species in troughs, plastic buckets & containers
Buying plant materials from local herbal markets
Mixing together plant parts for wellness
Phytochemical study of some Medicinal plants
Formulating of products from plant materials for preliminary clinical trials Documentation of plant species successfully used in treatment of various ailments
OUR BELIEF
There is no incurable disease – only lack of will. We also believe that there is no worthless plant species – only lack of information. There is clear and definitive evidence that plant species contain bioactive substances used in the treatment of many diseases. It has

This is where science meets memory 🌿

Between these shelves…
between stories my father told…
between plants we once touched without knowing their names…
something stayed.

Not just knowledge - but a quiet calling.
Not just to study plants…
but to remember them.

Welcome to my world of Living Botanicals! 🌿

Poetry in Botany: Midnight Rebirth

Dried, frail…yet defying night,
Purslane’s succulent cells ignite.
Crassulacean whispers, quiet and low,
Stomata closed…yet life still flows.
Roots hold secrets, stems stand tall,
Resilience blooms…despite it all.

THE OBSERVATION
I found it at 4PM…on iron-hard soil - alive, yet vulnerable.
By evening, it looked defeated.
Yet the Blueprint does not sleep.

While the house was still, something shifted within - cellular rhythms… realigned, quietly.
By dawn, what seemed weak…stood restored.

REFLECTION
If a “weed” can rise quietly in the dark,
what then is stopping you?

We have spent centuries studying the death of cells;
it is time we study the living botanicals that sustain them.

This is the year of Living Botanicals.
“And the fruit thereof shall be for nourishment,
and the leaf thereof for healing.”🌿

Henna, Laali:The Verdant Crown. (Rooted in tradition, Dyed in love).

Fifty-eight seasons have passed since I first beheld your bloom,
The verdant Henna, a lush wave at 2 Works Road, Enugu.

Before the trends and the beauty parlor's hustle,
I watched my mother mix the paste, when the evening's calm would settle.
It wasn't just a dye; it was an heirloom,
We infused the leaves with stories, whispers, and wisdom.

Today, when I adorn this crown, I don't see the fade,
I only see the timeless beauty the 'Nature's Art' has made. 🌿

Every seed has a story 🌿

I held this seed in my hand… and realized - not all beauty is safe.

Abrus seeds, like jewels bright,
Toxic beauty, nature’s subtle might.
Crimson and black…a perfect design,
Yet carrying a warning beneath the shine.

Not everything natural is gentle. Not everything beautiful is safe.
But turn the leaf…and a different truth appears-
A quiet sweetness, like Stevia, whispers through.

In ancient hands, Abrus found its way -
Seeds for caution…leaves for a sweeter day!

In Yoruba, it is called Oju Ologbo, the cat’s eye 🌿
A name that sees what beauty hides.

On No. 2 Works Road, Prof J.C.O said,
“Abrus is a gift”- divine play
Dad did say it soothes, brings respiratory ease…

Now in my office, it rests in quiet peace-
In a glass vase…no longer just seed, but art.

A living reminder:-

Wisdom is knowing the difference 🌿
Knowledge is knowing the limit 🌿
Nature is both healer…and warning
Respect the beauty, respect the power 🌿

What looks beautiful in your hands…do you truly understand it?

The Blueprint of the Guru’s Daughter 🌿📜

The lab coat is my armor, but the leaves are my lineage.
I do not just examine the barks and roots; I speak the language my father whispered to the trees.
From the desk of the Taxonomist to the heart of the Ethnobotanist,
A living tradition flows—not just as a formula, but as a birthright.

This is the year where science meets the soul.
Where the Ph.D. honors the roots that grew long before the degree.

We are not just documenting plants; we are reclaiming our Botanical Heritage.

Welcome to the new era of Natureal.
The Blueprint still speaks. 🌿✨
