IT'S A FRESH WEEK!!! LETS TALK ABOUT ALLERGIC CONJUNCTIVITIS. π
Red, itchy, and watery eyes are often more than just a minor irritation. They can be a sign of Allergic Conjunctivitis, an immune response to triggers such as pollen, dust, or pet dander. The surface of the eye reacts to these triggers, and the result is itching, redness, and a feeling of irritation that can be quite uncomfortable.
Allergic conjunctivitis is one of the most common reasons why many people visit the Clinic. It affects both Children and Adults, usually in response to everyday environmental triggers. Most patients describe sudden itching, tearing, or a mild burning sensation. In many cases the eyelids look puffy, and the white part of the eye appears bright red. The good news is that this condition does not harm vision, but it can disturb daily activities if left untreated.
Many people recognise the sudden itching or redness but are not always sure why it happens or how best to manage it. A simple explanation can help patients understand the condition and seek timely care. Management usually begins with identifying possible Triggers.
At Vision Pride Eye Care Centre, the Goal is simple. We want every Patient to understand what is happening to their eyes and to receive treatment that restores comfort quickly. If you notice Itching, Redness, or Watery Eyes that keep returning, a proper examination will help determine the cause and provide lasting relief.
