Parents we want to hear from you?

25/01/2026

You are not just meeting therapists.
You are meeting advocates.

We do not walk into sessions with empty charts and cold conclusions. We walk in with cups filled with love, patience, and belief. Every report we share is not a list of deficits—it is a story of strength, progress, and possibility.

We sit with parents and say, “Here is what your child can do. Here is what is emerging. Here is what we are building together.” Because behind every milestone is a family that has waited, hoped, prayed, and stayed consistent—even on the hard days.

At Patrick Speech and Language Centre, we believe therapy is not just intervention; it is advocacy. Advocacy for the child. Advocacy for the parent. Advocacy for a future where children with special needs are seen, heard, and supported with dignity.

And this is exactly what we teach in our Certificate in Special Needs Education (SEN)—how to shift from fear to knowledge, from labels to strengths, from confusion to confidence.

If you are ready to learn how to support children from a strength-based, compassionate, and professional approach, comment SEN below to register.
Your journey into purpose-driven advocacy starts here.

No matter who you are or what you do, there is one truth we all share—children are everywhere, and their needs touch every profession.

In our last cohort, the best graduating student was a lawyer. Not because she wanted a career change, but because she understood this: understanding children with special needs is no longer optional—it is essential.

The Certificate in Special Needs Education is not just a course.
It is perspective. It is compassion with structure. It is skill that stays relevant for life.

What are you waiting for?
Register now. Comment SEN.

I wore a shirt that said “Proud Special Needs Mum.”
At the time, I did not know how heavy and how hopeful those words would become.

When I became a mother, I truly believed my children would be perfect—not because of pride, but because I had served God faithfully for 25 years in the choir. In my mind, service guaranteed certainty. Then came the words that changed everything: “Your child is autistic.”

I was broken. Confused. Silent.

But today, I am standing in gratitude—because Shindara can now talk.
Not by chance. Not by magic. By knowledge, intentional learning, and the right support.

My turning point was enrolling in the Patrick Speech and Language Centre Academy, for the Certificate in Special Needs Education. That decision did not just equip me as a parent—it transformed my child’s life.

This course is not only for professionals.
It is for parents, teachers, caregivers, church workers, and anyone who stays close to children and wants to make real impact.

If you have ever felt helpless…
If you have ever loved a child but did not know how to help…
This is your sign.

Registration closes on 21st February, 2026.
Do not postpone the knowledge that could change a child’s future—possibly your own.

Enroll now. This journey is hard, but you do not have to walk it uninformed.

Farming tells a quiet but powerful story—where hands grow stronger and confidence grows deeper.

For children and adults living with autism, farming supports fine motor skill development through simple, meaningful actions. Planting seeds builds pincer grasp. Watering plants improves wrist control and hand–eye coordination. Harvesting turmeric strengthens grip, finger isolation, and bilateral hand use as the roots are carefully loosened, pulled, cleaned, and sorted.

There is no pressure—just rhythm, repetition, and purpose. The soil is patient, and progress comes naturally. Over time, these small movements translate into better control for writing, dressing, and daily living tasks.

In farming, therapy feels like purpose.
And in every harvest, including turmeric, growth is visible.
