‎FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TEAM VISITS MOAU TO ASSESS PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

‎The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Professor Emmanuel Ayangarumun Kenen, today received an Implementation Monitoring Committee from the Federal Ministry of Education led by Dr. Makolo Hassan, Esq. The delegation was on campus to assess the level of progress and compliance in the ex*****on of the 2021 federal projects allocated to the University.

‎Welcoming the team, Professor Kenen expressed the institution’s readiness to provide all necessary cooperation to ensure a transparent and successful assessment. He emphasized the University’s commitment to accountability, prudent use of resources and continuous infrastructural development aimed at improving teaching, learning and research.

‎Responding, Dr. Hassan commended the University Management for the warm reception and reiterated the committee’s mandate to verify, evaluate and document the status of on-going and completed projects. He assured that the team’s findings would be handled professionally and would contribute to strengthening project delivery within Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.

‎The visit featured project site inspections and interactions with relevant units involved in the implementation processes.

REVEREND FATHER MOSES ORSHIO ADASU UNIVERSITY FLAGS OFF 2025 LIBRARY WEEK

Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University began its 2025 Library Week on November 17th. The event will continue until November 21st, with the theme “Libraries for Cultural Heritage.”

The opening ceremony was held on Monday, 17th November 2025, at the Window on America, setting the tone for a week dedicated to celebrating knowledge, culture, and preservation.

According to a statement by Dr. Doosuur Ashaver, the week-long event will feature a lineup of activities including symposiums, cultural tours, lectures, and a radio programme, all designed to highlight the vital role libraries play in safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage within the academic community and beyond.

SU LEADERSHIP CONGRATULATES ACTING VICE-CHANCELLOR

The Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Nelson Aleybo, led the Student Union Executive and members of the Students’ Parliament on a congratulatory visit to the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Ayangarumun Kenen.

During the visit, Dr. Aleybo commended the Vice-Chancellor’s appointment and reaffirmed the readiness of the student leadership to partner with the administration in promoting peace, discipline and a conducive learning environment.

FACULTY OF ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO ACTING VICE-CHANCELLOR

The Faculty of Administration and Management, under the leadership of its Dean, Professor Joseph Sev, paid a courtesy call on the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ayangarumun Kenen.

During the visit, Professor Sev reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to supporting the University’s strategic goals and strengthening academic excellence across its programmes. He commended the new leadership for the stability and renewed sense of direction being witnessed in the institution and expressed confidence that the faculty would continue to contribute meaningfully to administrative and managerial innovations within the University.

PROFESSOR KENEN RECEIVES NUC ACCREDITATION TEAM‎‎

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Professor Emmanuel Ayangarumum Kenen, Friday, 13th November, 2025 received a team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) who arrived the University for the accreditation of Human Physiology programme in the College of Health Sciences.‎‎

The accreditation team was led by Professor Samuel Odu Odeh, a seasoned academic and human physiology expert. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening academic standards and ensuring that the programme meets national the benchmarks for training future health-science professionals.‎‎

Welcoming the delegation, Professor Kenen reaffirmed the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research and service. He noted that the institution has continued to invest in infrastructure, equipment and faculty development to enhance the learning experience of its students.‎‎

He further stated “we are pleased to host the NUC team and confident that our Human Physiology programme reflects the high standards expected of a modern university”, this exercise is an important opportunity for us to showcase the progress we have made and to receive valuable feedback that will further improve our offerings.”‎‎

Professor Odeh commended the university’s warm reception and expressed optimism about the collaboration between the NUC and the institution during the evaluation process.‎‎

The accreditation exercise includes facility inspections, curriculum reviews and interactions with faculty members and students.‎‎
