Dear Technicians,

This image illustrates a classic case of electrical arcing and localized overheating due to circuit breaker failure at terminal connections. The main causes for such damage include:

1. Loose Wire Connections, often resulting from a loose screw at the terminal, creating high contact resistance and excessive heat.

2. Overloading, where consistent overcurrent conditions lead to heat buildup and potential component failure.

3. Poor contact surfaces, such as oxidation, impede electricity flow and generate sparks.

4. Incompatible metals without proper connectors cause galvanic corrosion.

⚠️ Safety Precautions: Do not reuse the breaker or wires. The breaker's internal mechanism and the wire's copper may be compromised. Cutting the wires to clean metal is recommended before installing a new breaker. Follow my page for more insights on tech innovations.
