NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS (NAFSTS NATIONAL)

OFFICIAL VISITATION

NAFSTS National paid an official visitation to YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY YCT) Lagos State, yesterday as part of continuous effort to strengthen institutional relationships and promote the objectives of our great association.
Visitation was led by *the National President and was accompanied by the Local Organization Committee (LOC) Chairman, Alaka Constance Nneamaka Deputy Chairman, Ogunlana Oyekunle* and National Welfare Director 1 .

Team was warmly received, and discussions centered on collaboration, student development, and the advancement of Food Science and Technology education in Nigeria.

In furtherance of commitment to growth and sustainability, the delegation also visited reputable organizations for sponsorship and partnership engagements. Among the companies visited was *Spectra Foods* , where productive discussions were held regarding potential sponsorship, opportunities and strategic partnership with *NAFSTS National* .

Meetings focused on fostering industry academia collaboration, supporting student programs, and creating opportunities that will benefit *NAFSTSITES* nationwide.

*NAFSTS National* remains dedicated to building strong partnerships with academic institutions and industry stakeholders to enhance professional development and innovation among students.

📣OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT📣

NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS (NAFSTS NATIONAL)

In line with the commitment of the National Executives to strengthening collaboration, fostering unity, and adequately sensitising members across the country, a strategic campus visitation was successfully carried out Today as part of preparations toward the forthcoming NAFSTS National Conference.

A courtesy visit was led by the President of Nafst National (Comr Olumoro) to the Department of Food Science, (IDAH Chapter)Federal Polytechnic IDAH Kogi State

A brief interactive session was held with students of the department, during which the importance of active participation in NAFSTS activities particularly conferences was emphasised, with special focus on the upcoming National Conference.

More campus visits are underway as the Association continues its nationwide sensitisation.
