The seven statements of Jesus Christ on the cross recorded in the Bible (KJV) and their significance:
1. Statement: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:33-43)
• Intent: Jesus, in His mercy and love, intercedes on behalf of His executioners, expressing forgiveness for those who crucified Him.

2. Statement: "Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:36-43)
