A health consultant once told a story about how she lost her only brother to the cold hands of death because of NEGLIGENCE.

The woman on one occasion had volunteered for a health brand. During this service, she learned how to run basic body check-ups using the QRM body analyzer. She decided to start up the health business full-time when her brother died.

Before his death, she had warned him about the awful state of his kidney. It didn't get to a month when the young man in his early 30s fall ill. On getting to the hospital, he was diagnosed with kidney stone. Remembering what his sister said, he cried uncontrollably. Friends, the pain remained that he didn't last for two weeks because his state got critical.

Most of us are like this young man whose future seemed very promising. He was rich and had all it takes to be in charge of his health. But, what happened to him? - NEGLIGENCE.

COMMON COLD (also called Cold)

It is a common viral infection of the nose and throat. It can be caused by many different types of viruses. The condition is generally harmless and symptoms usually resolve within two weeks.

HOW IT SPREADS:
- Through airborne respiratory droplets (coughs or sneezes).
- By touching a contaminated surface.
- By saliva (kissing or shared drinks).
- By skin-to-skin contact (handshakes or hugs).

SYMPTOMS:
These symptoms are classified based on different body areas and they include -
- Pain areas: in the muscles
- Cough: can be with phlegm
- Nasal: congestion, runny nose, sneezing, loss of smell, redness, or post-nasal drip
- Whole body: chills, fatigue, fever, malaise, or body ache
- Eyes: watery eyes, itchiness, or redness
- Head: congestion or sinus pressure
Other symptoms are: chest pressure, headache, swollen lymph nodes, or throat irritation.

TREATMENT:
Most people recover on their own within two weeks. Over-the-counter products and home remedies can help control symptoms.
They include:

This quote has every aorta of truth in it but may seem contradictory until you've had a life-threatening challenge courtesy of sickness.😭😭😭

A few years ago before the commencement of my exams when I entered college, I was thoroughly sick😰😰. This was before I started working as health personnel. I have not been this sick in my life. The fact that the sickness started in a little way (as is the manner of some sicknesses) made it very unpredictable that this "little sickness" will turn out big.

First, there were little signs and symptoms that one would see and tag the sickness "Malaria and Typhoid". But hello, it wasn't. Middle of the exam, I started coughing vehemently. I also felt feverish as part of my head went numb.🤧🤧

That day, I was shivering like a leaf that was about to fall from its branch. I cried like a baby. My roommates fearfully purchased a few drugs like paracetamol from a nearby chemist shop. They coerced me into taking it. Normally, I don't like taking medications because I was scared they won't pass through my throat. Then, the smell of the drugs.😓😓

Fast forward to the after-effects of the sickness, it was discovered that I was suffering from a chronic cold. This sickness showed me enough "shege" as I passed through severe chest burn/pain, difficulty breathing, headaches, and blockage of the windpipe.😥

Just to mention a few. I felt like I was passing away already until God intervened🤸🤸. I got to know about some health products that solved the problem. And, I'm still grateful to God I met the guys that recommended the products to me.

Well, the thing is I'm better, and I've not failed to go for body check-ups every three months because I realized that sickness was better prevented than cured.😍😍

My point: Take care of your body while you can. Later might be very late and may not be settled. Regular body check-ups, at least every 4 months are recommended🤷🤷. Do well to go close to your doctor/health consultant/nutritionist/physician.
