Common ulcer symptoms include:
â¡Discomfort between meals or during the night (duodenal ulcer)
â¡Discomfort when you eat or drink (gastric ulcer)
â¡Stomach pain that wakes you up at night
â¡Feel full fast
â¡Bloating, burning, or dull pain in your stomach. Comes and goes for days or weeks at a time discomfort lasts for minutes or hours
If your ulcer becomes perforated (torn), it becomes a bleeding ulcer. This can cause the following symptoms:
â¶Nausea
â¶Vomiting blood
â¶Unexpected weight loss
â¶Blood in your stool or dark stools
â¶Pain in your back
The only way to know you have an ulcer is by getting tested to know if you are infected H.pylori (the causative organism for ulcers)
Do not take a medication that has helped your friend, family, etc. treat ulcers.
