Your child’s eyes are tired… but their screen won’t let them rest 😅

Kids blink far less when they’re on phones or tablets.

That can make their eyes dry, itchy, red, and sometimes a little puffy under the lower lids.

It happens more when they rub their eyes because they feel uncomfortable.

How to help:
• Let them take short breaks

• ⁠Follow the 20-20-20 rule (every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds)

• Limit screen time, especially before bed

• Encourage outdoor play, it refreshes the eyes , and the brain

• Keep the screen a bit far from their face

Small changes. Big difference for their eyes. ♥️♥️

WORLD SIGHT DAY 2025 🥳
LOVE YOUR EYES | VISION FOR ALL

Today reminded me why I love what I do.

From screening, examining, and providing Prescription glasses to the Rivers state commercial drivers and then to Model Secondary School, GRA and sharing eye health tips on air at Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Rivers), every moment spoke to the heart of what eye care is about: helping people see life clearly again.

Grateful to have been part of this year’s World Sight Day activities, raising awareness, restoring sight, and touching lives in simple but meaningful ways.

Here’s to a world where everyone can truly love their eyes and see their dreams clearly. ❤️🤍❤️
