When a person faints he temporary loses consciousness and falls to the ground (syncope). It is mostly caused by the drop in the blood pressure (vosovagal). Anything that interferes with the normal action of the heart may cause a fainting spell.
There are main causes of syncope some include, a sudden emotional shock may change the size of or caliber of the arterioles, hence a rapid drop your blood pressure. Sudden change in posture (postural syncope) such as jumping up from a lying position. Main nervous people suffers from fainting due to the rabid breathing in and out(hyperventilation syndrome).Some trigger mechanism may be responsible such as fatigue, fright, anxiety. Other causes of syncope include various heart ailments, an irregular pulse, epilepsy, severe hemorrhage, abdominal cramps, heart failure, strong odors, low blood sugar, insulin reaction, strokes, heart attack and main more.
Treatment;Surgery, implanting of a pacemaker. Most cases of fainting are not serious, as soon as the victim is laid flat he usually recovers, keep the head low and his feet slightly elevated. Do not splash water over the victim or try to force whisky down the throat of the victim.
The best first aid is to keep calm and give nature a chance, changing to good and Heath life style is also important. It is usually right to call a Doctor.
