WEB OF DECEIT PART 1
It was a night like any other, until the music stopped, and she saw him with her best friend, the melody of their laughter cutting through her like a knife.
Gracia sat silently on the couch lost in thought. “What did I do wrong?" She asked herself silently.
“Why does everything fall apart when it was suppose to bring me peace and joy?" She muttered again to herself, but there was no answer to her questions.
Gracia and Sandra had been best of friends for a long time. Gracia had always loved and assisted Sandra the little she can to make her happy.
But one thing she never knew was that sandra was a very subtle person who had a green eye.
She always pretended to love Gracia who was so genuine and sincere in their relationship, not knowing Sandra was a snake in the grass.
A Few weeks before Gracia's birthday, she started noticing some changes around her fiance.
It was intense that he stopped calling her, texting or even visiting her. It became a concern to her.
“I can't remember what I did to Victor why he has been ignoring me all this while." She said to Sandra in tears.
“Hmm, this is quit surprising.
Why will he kick you out just like that without saying anything to you, or is it that he has seen another person better or what?" Sandra said with a stern and mocking look.
“I don't know Sandra" tears rolling down her eyes as she replied silently.
“Why not go to his house and check up on him" Sandra suggested .
“I have done that, but he gave me a warning never to come to his place again.
The annoying part was that I didn't know what I did wrong or what actually happened" she replied using her handkerchief to wipe her tears.
“After 5 years of dating, oh no!. This can't be happening to me!" She burst into tears again
Sandra joyfully watched her as she cried. " Don't worry I will talk with him to know what's the issue" Sandra scornfully said.
“okay" Gracia replied with a tearful tone.
