The name "Let's Talk About You" is more than just a title . I've loved writing as long as I can remember But it wasn't until I started sharing my writing with others that I realized the power of words to heal, to inspire, and to connect.
I started writing as a way to cope with loneliness that had become my reality. To be honest staying in that place of loneliness made introversion my lifestyle. I was struggling to find my place in the world, I was struggling to be heard. But as I wrote, I found comfort, and I found my voice.
In that space of introversion, I discovered my writing. I found that I could express myself better on paper, and it became my escape from the silence. I was so reserved, but my writing became my voice and my connection to the world.
As I shared my writing with others, I began to notice the impact it had on them. People were resonating with my words. And that's when I knew that I had to create a space where we could talk, share, and connect.
"Let's Talk About You" is an invitation to share your story, your struggles, and your triumphs. It's a reminder that your feelings are valid, and you're not alone. It's a space where we can be vulnerable and real. Where we can talk about the good, the bad.Where we can laugh, cry, and heal together.
For me, "Let's Talk About You" has been a journey of self-discovery, of growth. It's helped me to understand myself better, to recognize my strengths, and to face my fears. It's helped me to connect with others, to build meaningful relationships, and to find my community.
Through this page, I hope to create a space where people can come and be themselves, without fear of judgment or rejection. A space where people can share their passions, their dreams, and their fears. A space where people can find inspiration, motivation, and comfort in the words of others.
So, let's talk about you. What's on your mind? What's keeping you up at night? Let's support each other and let's grow together✍️✍️✍️

I didn't start writing because I had a lifelong dream to be an author.
I started writing because I needed somewhere to escape hurt
I lived in a place with no one to talk,
so I saw reading and writing as my only escape.
Writing was the only place I could be me.
I didn't know how to put my feelings into words,
but they found me
Some days, I wrote deep
Other days, it was just fragmented thoughts,
because that's how my mind felt
But writing was where I didn't have to pretend.
I could be angry, numb, confused, afraid, happy – all on paper.
No judgment.
At first, I thought I was just ranting, dumping emotions like trash.
But over time, I noticed a shift.
I understood the “why” behind my feelings,
and recognized the strength I didn’t know I had.
One day, I read something I wrote months before.
And I realized: I have grown. I’m not where I used to be.
The writing that came from pain had become proof of healing.
I shared bits with friends, and they said,
“This is exactly how I feel but couldn’t explain it.”
“Thank you for putting my emotions into words.”
That’s when I realized: writing was no longer just about emptying my pain;
it was becoming a bridge to someone else’s healing.
So I kept writing, not because I felt “called” to be a writer,
but because I wanted us to talk about us
I get inspired at night to write,
and I hope my words can help someone else.
Today, if you see me write,
don’t just see words on a page.
See a girl finding her voice,
helping others find theirs too.
My words are a shelter for others.
That’s the paradox of writing.
It’s where I found myself,
and where I learned to lose myself in service of others’ healing.
If my words reach you in a dark place,
know this: you are not alone.
Your words are waiting to be born,
and they might just be the lifeline someone else needs.
This is my song – of finding voice.
It’s not pretty, it’s not perfect, but it’s mine.
Maybe it’ll help someone else

"Today, on International Men's Day, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the men in our lives. You guys are the unsung heroes, the backbone of our society, and the heart of our families.

Your strength, courage, and resilience inspire me every day. Your passion, drive, and determination motivate me to be better. Your kindness, compassion, and love make the world a better place.

I appreciate the way you guys lead, protect, and provide for your loved ones. I appreciate the way you support, encourage, and believe in us. I appreciate the way you make us laugh, make us feel seen, and make us feel loved.

You are the dreamers, the doers, and the game-changers. You are the fathers, brothers, sons, and friends who make a difference in our lives. You are the ones who push boundaries, who break barriers, and who pave the way for a brighter future.

Your masculinity is not defined by your toughness, but by your tenderness. Your strength is not measured by your muscles, but by your heart. You are capable of great love, great kindness, and great courage.

To all the men out there, I see you. I hear you. And I love you. Your worth is not defined by your achievements or your failures, but by your existence. You are valued, you are cherished, and you are celebrated.

You are enough, just as you are. You are strong, you are brave, and you are loved.

So here's to all the men who make a difference in our lives: Thank you! Thank you for being you, for loving us, and for making the world a better place. We love you, we appreciate you, and we're grateful for you.

Keep shining, keep pushing, and keep being the amazing men that you are. The world needs you, and we need you.

Happy International Men's Day!"

No be your neighbor dey drive new car? No be your cousin dey travel abroad? No be your friend dey get big promotion? I’m sure you’ve heard it before. Someone’s always measuring you against someone else. Maybe they said it with a smile, but the words stuck, didn’t they?

There was a time I felt like I wasn’t doing enough. Everyone seemed to be moving faster, achieving more. But then I realized: my journey isn’t theirs. My path is mine alone. I stopped comparing, and started living.

Comparison is a thief, stealing your joy, your peace, and your purpose. It makes you chase shadows, and forget the light within you. Don’t let it define your story.

You’re not behind, you’re not ahead. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Your life is a masterpiece, unfolding one chapter at a time. Trust the process, trust yourself.

As the wise say, “The grass is green where you water it.” Focus on nurturing your own garden, and watch it bloom.

Tell them you’re not competing. You’re creating. Creating a life that’s yours, at your speed. One that’s authentic, purposeful, and uniquely beautiful.

Your worth isn’t defined by likes, followers, or comparisons. It’s defined by your heart, your soul, and the love you share. Keep shining 💫😊

Congratulations you met the bare minimum..you think love is stuff but never learned it's also listening apologizing showing up and not guilt
Tripping your kids for having feelings
You met the check list not the connection

I'm sitting here under the stars, gazing up at the twinkling lights, and I'm lost in thought. I'm thinking about this time last year, the promises I made to myself, the goals I set, the dreams I had. I thought by now I'd be living in my miracle.
But as I look up at the stars, I'm reminded that God's timing is not my own. He's working behind the scenes, shaping me, molding me, and preparing me for what's to come. I'm learning to trust the process, to trust Him.
As I look at this beautiful star, I imagine the light that's been traveling through space, crossing millions of miles to reach my eyes right now. It's a reminder that even when things seem far away, God's got a plan to bring them closer.
I close my eyes and imagine the day when my prayers will be answered, when I'll be basking in the joy of my miracle. I imagine the look on my face, the peace in my heart, and the gratitude in my soul. I imagine myself standing in the midst of my breakthrough, with tears of joy streaming down my face, shouting "I knew God would do it!"
"God, You're so big, so mighty, and yet You're so concerned about me."
I'm good, I'm blessed, and I'm trusting You. I'm trusting Your process, Your timing, and Your plan. I'll keep looking up, keep trusting, and keep believing. My miracle is on its way...

31/10/2025

"Sometime when we go through seasons that are painful and uncomfortable, we are tempted to ask, 'Can there ever be a better version of myself?' But the key is to STAY. You never know how close you are.
The question is, what will you do with the pain? Will you let it consume you, or will you use it as fuel for growth? Will you allow the discomfort to define you, or will you rise above it? The choice is yours. But know this: every great accomplishment requires perseverance, every triumph requires resilience, and every success requires staying power.

The darkness may seem overwhelming, but it's in the darkness that we find opportunity for growth, for reflection, and for transformation. It's in the fire that we are refined, strengthened, and purified. So, don't be afraid to walk through the fire. Don't be afraid to get burned. For it's in the burning that we are made new, that we are remade, and that we emerge stronger, wiser, and more resilient than before.

You are not just a product of your circumstances; you are a product of your choices. You are not defined by your past; you are defined by your present and your future. So, choose to stay, choose to persevere, and choose to rise above. Choose to be the author of your own story, to write your own ending, and to create your own destiny.

There are nations waiting for our story. There are people who need to hear our voice, to see our example, and to be inspired by our courage. Don't disappoint them. Don't arrive without a treasure. You never know how close you are to breakthrough. Wisdom does not look like wisdom until you see what it can do. You will be discouraged, you will cry, but stay. For the reward is worth the struggle, the victory is worth the fight, and the triumph is worth the pain."

"I came across a video from that spoke directly to my soul. If you're in a place where you're feeling unseen, unheard, or unloved, I want you to know that you're not alone. You deserve to be seen, to be heard, and to be loved with every fiber of someone's being.

It's hard to let go, I know. It's hard to walk away from the only love you've ever known, even when it's not good for you. But I want you to know that you are worth the risk. You are worth the unknown. You are worth the tears, the heartache, and the struggle.

Don't let anyone make you feel like you're not enough. Don't let anyone diminish your worth or make you question your value. You are a precious gem, a beautiful soul, and a masterpiece in the making.

If you're feeling trapped, suffocated, or drained by the relationship you're in, it's okay to acknowledge those feelings. It's okay to say, "You know what? I deserve better." It takes courage to face the truth, but I promise you, the other side is worth it.

You deserve to be loved without condition, to be cherished without apology, and to be respected without hesitation. You deserve someone who will show up for you, who will listen to you, and who will love you for all that you are.

If you're struggling to find the strength to leave, I want you to know that you're not alone. There are people who care about you, who want to support you, and who believe in you. Don't give up on yourself. Keep pushing forward, even when it feels like the darkest night.

Remember, your worth isn't defined by someone else's love or approval. Your worth comes from within. You are enough, just as you are. You are loved, you are valued, and you are deserving of all the good things life has to offer.
Let's surround ourselves with people who uplift us, support us, and love us for who we are.

"To every girl who's ever been told she's too much or not enough, to every girl who's been oppressed, or silenced, today is for you. Today, we celebrate your strength, your resilience, and your unbreakable spirit.
You are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers. You have the power to shape the world into a better place, to challenge the status quo, and to create a brighter future for yourself and for others.

Don't let anyone dull your sparkle or make you feel like you're not worthy. You are enough, just as you are. Your voice matters, your thoughts matter, and your dreams matter. Never give up on yourself, never lose faith in your abilities, and never let anyone make you feel like you're not capable of achieving greatness.

You are a queen, a warrior, and a game-changer. You are fierce, fearless, and unstoppable. Own your power, trust yourself, and believe in your worth. You got this, girl!

So, let's rise up, let's speak out, and let's support each other. Let's celebrate our differences and our uniqueness. Let's uplift and empower each other to be the best version of ourselves.

To all the girls out there, remember that you are not alone. You are part of a global community of strong, brave, and inspiring women who are working together to create a better world. Keep shining your light, keep pushing boundaries, and keep breaking barriers. The world needs more of your love, your kindness, and your brilliance.

Happy International Girls' Day! May you know your worth, may you believe in yourself, and may you never lose sight of your dreams."

10/10/2025

Waiting is a universal language we all speak at some point in our lives. It's a season of anticipation, a period of uncertainty, and a test of faith. But what if we flipped the script? What if we saw waiting not as a pause, but as a catalyst for growth? Think about it. Some of the most significant moments in history happened while people were waiting. Waiting for the right moment, waiting for clarity, waiting for the storm to pass, waiting for the right people. And in that waiting, they discovered strength, resilience, and purpose.

Waiting can be frustrating, I know. It feels like time is standing still while life is passing us by. But what if this waiting period is actually a gift? A chance to reflect, recharge, and refocus on our goals and dreams. In the silence of waiting, we can discover our deepest desires, our greatest fears, and our most profound strengths.

However, waiting can also be a double-edged sword. Sometimes, what we wait for doesn't come to pass. The person we wait for chooses someone else. The opportunity we crave slips through our fingers. The dream we hold onto remains just out of reach. And we're left wondering if the wait was worth it.

Yet, even in the disappointment, there's a lesson. Waiting teaches us about patience, about perseverance, and about the complexity of human experience. It teaches us to cherish the moments we have, to appreciate the people around us, and to find joy in the journey.
So my question is
What does true fulfillment look like when what we're waiting for remains uncertain? And how can we differentiate between patiently waiting and patiently wasting our time?
