BUMPS
BUMPS which is known as Pseudofolliculities barbae (PFB) is a common problem for people of colour including African, Caribbean, Afro American and Hispanics. This problem is where the hair curves back into the skin due to the thick curly nature of the hair. This problem causes itching and tiny bumps that could later develop into big bumps making the problem worse and cause unsightly darkening of the skin.
CAUSES OF BUMPS
Research has shown that the most common cause of bumps can be attributed to the use of infected and un-sterilized blades, clippers, bad and blunt clipper blades. Generally bumps are formed through inflammation of the hair follicle caused by any of the under listed factors:
Shortly after a hair cut or close shave the hair begins to grow, it curls back into the skin where it bores a hole. When this happens inflammation of the skin occurs and it could result into bumps. Bumps can also develop as a result of bacteria infection of cuts sustained during barbing or using a fake, unhygienic infected and un-sterilized blades or clippers.

Razor Bumps Treatment - treat razor bumps the natural way
Shea butter is a wonderful agent for treating hair so that its moisture retention capacity is enhanced. Hair treated with shea butter becomes softer and more pliable and consequently even curly hair is much less likely to force its way back into the skin. And shea butter not only contains a high moisturizing fraction, but also contains an extraordinarily high healing fraction and so treats the inflammations that the in-grown hair causes. To enhance the shea butter's ability to heal the inflammation, we have infused it with 2 essential oils: patchouli and sandalwood.
