I got home today and Mama mentioned marriage.

I gave her the following options to choose which one should come first.

1. Marriage
2. Building house
3. Leaving the country
4. Buying a car.

She said I should start from the first to the last...

I asked her to recommend 10 amputees to me if she truly wants me to marry soon.

Well, she served me a nice yam and red oil before starting the conversation if not, E for no go smoothly.

My dad was advising a man that was complaining about his wife not giving birth to a boy because the man said how will his name “survive”.

And my dad said something that made me go crazy with my goals.

He said:

If you want your name to live and not die, make a name for yourself. Your kids cannot keep your name alive.

If you want your name to survive, give your name life by doing things that people will talk about when you die.

He asked the guy, “Who remembers the kids of Abraham Lincoln or the kids of Thomas Edison or even Nnamdi Azikiwe?”

“Who even cares about the kids of anyone great in history?”
We don’t.

So if you want your name to not die, make a name for yourself by being a great person or else your name will die when you die and there is nothing you can do about it.

Every lineage comes to an end.
But the great names in every dead lineage do not die.
They outlive generations.

I spent the last week in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, a place that holds a huge part of my hustling journey.
Being there again brought back deep memories… every street, every junction, every corner had a story waiting for me.

Coming back this evening, I decided to go through my old pictures, and all I can say is this: life is getting better and sweeter.
The hustle hasn’t ended, but it has taken a more beautiful direction.
Growth is happening, grace is speaking, and the journey is becoming clearer.🤣

I reconnected with friends, family and loved ones who were genuinely happy to see me and that alone made the trip worth it.💕

Grateful for how far I’ve come, excited for where I’m going. One step at a time… God is faithful. 🙏🏾💙
