Let's talk about Myopes that are now presbyopic
Myopes are short-sighted people. They struggle to see things afar. Presbyopes, on the other hand, struggle with tiny prints at a near distance.
Because Myopes have the advantage of seeing clearly at close range they feel comfortable reading without their glasses though they can read with the glasses on. Over the years, they will need a lesser power to read, which is combined with the prescription for far distance - bifocals/progressives.

When Myopic Presbyopes Refuse Bifocals...
They often find themselves in a visual tug-of-war!
To read, they take off their glasses. To see far, they put them back on. 🔁 and the cycle continues.
This constant back-and-forth happens because their distance glasses over-correct their near vision — a common struggle as the eyes age.

Bifocals or progressive lenses can make life (and vision) much easier! 👀✨
