Cancer does not discriminate. It affects young and old, men and women, families and communities. But here’s the truth: early detection saves lives.

Know the warning signs:
• Unexplained weight loss
• Persistent fatigue
• Unusual lumps or swelling
• Changes in skin, breasts, or moles
• Persistent cough or bleeding

Regular screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and timely medical check-ups can significantly reduce risks and improve survival rates.

Today, we stand united, in awareness, in prevention, in hope, and in support for those fighting.

If you notice anything unusual, don’t ignore it. Early action can make all the difference.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Month is dedicated to raising awareness about cervical cancer, a type of cancer that occurs in the cells of the cervix (the lower part of the uterus).

It’s mostly caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a common infection that often shows no symptoms.

The good news? Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable types of cancer when detected early through regular screening (like Pap smears) and prevented with the HPV vaccine.

This month is a reminder to:
- Prioritize routine checkups
- Educate yourself and others
- Encourage HPV vaccination
- Take symptoms like unusual bleeding or pain seriously

Early detection saves lives. Spread the word, not the disease.

Me: has a mild headache
Google: you might be pregnant, have a tumor, or be an alien 😂

Most headaches are harmless, caused by dehydration, stress, or lack of sleep. Only see a doctor urgently if it’s sudden, severe, or comes with vision changes, confusion, or weakness.

So sip water, rest, and don’t panic! Your brain will thank you.

Antibiotics are NOT candies — please stop taking them like one.

Not every cough, catarrh or “body is doing me somehow” needs antibiotics.
Using antibiotics wrongly or without a doctor’s prescription can:

🔹 Make the medicine stop working in the future
🔹 Cause serious side effects
🔹 Lead to antibiotic resistance (where germs become stronger and harder to treat)
🔹 Make simple infections turn into life-threatening ones.

This is why we always say:
👉 Do not self-prescribe.
👉 Do not share antibiotics.
👉 Do not stop halfway.

Let’s protect the power of antibiotics for when they’re truly needed.

Before you take antibiotics, ask a qualified healthcare provider.
Self-medication does more harm than good.

Your health is important.
Use medicines wisely.
